Technology and digital planning

Technology supports diagnosis, planning and treatment. At Office Dent, equipment and digital workflows are used according to the procedure and each patient’s clinical needs.

Diagnosis and digital planning

Scanner intraoral

Medit and CEREC intraoral scanners

For many restorations the impression is taken digitally, with the Medit and CEREC (Dentsply Sirona) intraoral scanners, instead of with traditional impression material. The scan goes straight to the clinic’s lab and is used for planning and for making the work.

Facial scanner

Scanning the face lets the patient’s smile and facial proportions be taken into account in the digital planning of aesthetic work.

Tratamente asistate la microscop

Zumax dental microscope

Root canal treatments and retreatments can be done under the microscope, for visibility and control where every millimetre counts.

Laser stomatologic

Biolase Epic X diode laser

The dental laser is used in certain procedures, when there is a medical indication.

The digital lab

Lucrari CAD/CAM

CAD/CAM milling: Dentsply Sirona inLab MC X5

Restorations are designed on the computer and milled in our own lab on the 2nd floor, from zirconia, ceramics or other materials. The doctor and the technician work on the same digital model.

Formlabs 3D printer

Models and try-in pieces are 3D-printed straight from the digital design, in the clinic’s lab.

Safety in the surgery room

Surgical procedures take place in a room separate from the treatment rooms, with a specialist and, when the procedure requires it, an anaesthetist.

Mindray A3 anaesthesia workstation

Used by the anaesthetist in the surgery room: controlled and assisted ventilation, and breath-by-breath monitoring of anaesthetic gases.

An anaesthetist on the team

Dr. Valeria Vlăsceanu, senior consultant in anaesthesia and intensive care, is present when sedation is medically indicated.

Monitoring throughout the procedure

The patient is monitored by the medical team, following the protocol agreed before the procedure.
